Why is important to have a place to work: SisterWorks Home at Richmond?

The first step to getting women into the workforce, is to have a place where they can begin to engage with the broader community in a supportive environment to learn basic skills and earn money.

SisterWorks  operates a shop front, workshop and business hub which provides a supportive environment to gain training and work experience and work opportunities learning by doing business together.

To keep SisterWorks Home operating requires a minimum of $6,000 per month or $1500 per week.  This covers rent, rates, electricity, water, telephone, internet, insurance and other  day to day expenses.

How can you help?   By sponsoring for a week, a month or a year some of our ongoing expenses.

For $70 you could sponsor our internet for a month

For $150 you could sponsor our electricity for a month

For $100 you could sponsor our rent for a day
